AIU Takes Part in the First International Staff Week in Rome!
We are proud to announce that the Arab International University (AIU) was represented at the First International Staff Week held in Rome, Italy, hosted by the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), which brings together 150 universities from the EU, Mediterranean, and beyond.
Dr. Tarek Barhoum, Director of the Students Affairs Directorate, and Dr. Hala Al-Shash, Director of the Human Resources Directorate, presented an insightful overview of AIU’s academic and training programs, highlighting our contributions to international cooperation. They also shared the university’s active participation in academic exchanges and training programs.
Additionally, Ms. Lamiaa Al-Attar, Director of International Relations, gave an online presentation about the university’s efforts to strengthen scientific collaboration and student mobility through international partnerships.
This event was part of the Erasmus+ COMMO Project, which focuses on staff and student mobility, joint student projects, and academic exchange initiatives. The workshop featured various sessions on strategies for internationalizing higher education institutions and expanding collaboration.
AIU’s participation marks a significant step in boosting Syria’s involvement in global academic cooperation and innovation. We are committed to enhancing our role in international education and offering valuable opportunities for our students and staff.
